This weekend, the berries on the elder tree in the garden were finally ready to pick! I wasted no time collecting as many as my small stature (5’2″) allowed! Unfortunately, my meagre height didn’t allow for enough collection so I sneaked off to the tree on the green next to our house to get more from there.
So you may have noticed from my Instagram that I’ve been making cordials recently. I mentioned in my podcast on the weekend how I made some rhubarb cordial. It was so delicious that I felt I needed to have a go at something else!
OK OK! I really should have done a podcast before now! You will understand how ill I’ve been. I’ve also been really stressed with everything over the last few months. Getting up in the morning and putting one foot in front of the other has been really difficult enough without thinking about anything else. Now I’m settled and I’m thinking more about other things, I feel like I’m ready to move on and start podcasting again! So what have I been up to?!?!?
